eXtra awarded "Best Mobile Security Partner in Middle East"

Khobar, Saudi Arabia; December 24th, 2011: eXtra, Saudi Arabia’s fastest-growing big box consumer electronics and home appliance retailer, announced today that it has been named the “Best Mobile Security Partner in Middle East” by F-Secure, a leading global IT security solutions provider. eXtra was recognized for the innovation of its Jawwaly mobile phone service.

Jawwaly service is a customized package of services which eases the transition from an old to a new mobile phone. Features include phone setup, data transfer and back-up, installation of applications and operating systems, and ‘Anti Virus’ and ‘Anti Theft’ protection.

Since its launch in 2009, Jawwaly has proved hugely popular. (since 2009, 100,000 subscription took place); further reinforcing eXtra’s position as the largest consumer electronics retailer in Saudi Arabia.
