eXtra tops Saudi social media in six months

Khobar, Saudi Arabia; March 29, 2013: United Electronics Company (eXtra), Saudi Arabia’s fastest-growing consumer electronics and home appliance retailer, announced today that its Facebook page (facebook.com/extrastores) has surpassed 500,000 fans, making it the number one Facebook page, in terms of the number of fans, in the business/retail category in Saudi Arabia, and number five in the region within six months of launching.
Just six months after it was launched, data compiled by www.socialwatchlist.com also reveals that eXtra’s Facebook page is ranked among the top 10 Facebook pages in the Kingdom, adding more than two thousand fans every day. Moreover, the eXtra Facebook page has reached unprecedented levels of customer engagement, reflecting the exceptional level of customer interest.
