eXtra opens first store in the city of Qunfuda

• 1,200 square meters store will offer over 12,000 world-leading products
• Retailer now operates 30 outlets across the Kingdom

Khobar, Saudi Arabia; May 4, 2013: United Electronics Company (eXtra), Saudi Arabia’s fastest-growing consumer electronics and home appliance retailer, announced the opening of its first store in Qunfuda City, and 30th in the Kingdom.

Occupying 1,200 square meters, the store is located on King Fahd Road within close proximity to the border guard department. Serving a population of approximately 250,000, the new store will offer customers more than 12,000 world-leading consumer electronics and home appliance products.

Mohammad Galal, Chief Executive Officer, United Electronics Company (eXtra), said: “This year has begun much as 2012 ended, by opening new stores and extending the eXtra brand promise to hundreds of thousands of new customers. With this new addition, we now have 30 stores and presence in 21 cities within the kingdom and two stores regionally.
